Amola Surya is the artist behind Empowder, which has been a 2017-2024 WeddingWire Couple's Choice Award recipient. Amola discovered her love for fashion and makeup while attending American University in Washington, DC and learning about skin care and makeup with a prestigious brand. Since attaining her degree in 2006, she pursued her interest in beauty by furthering her training with Cinderella Bridez, an elite bridal makeup and hair styling team. Over the last eight years, Amola has mastered the skills that place her at the top of her game in the profession of makeup, skin care and hair artistry. Her signature soft glam style can be described as the sweet spot between natural and full glam. She has a large client base consisting of South Asian brides but has a variety of clients from all ethnicities, from the classic American bride to the elaborate Indian bride. Empowder is more than just makeup, it’s about empowering women to see and feel how beautiful they really are.
